1. Armageddon Navy Issue (Standard)


Design Notes
Use: Vanguard, Assault (mid-range dps), HQ (mid-range dps) and Kundalini Manifest.

The Armageddon Navy Issue is a very capable and fairly cost effective faction battleship.
The combination of high dps/rate of fire with the ability to field sentry/heavy drones is fearsome.

The navy issue ship has better shields, armor and structure than the standard Armageddon.
Even better, it has more CPU and PG, an increased drone bay size and 1 extra mid slot.

Not recommended as a starter ship for incursions.

The resist focus is towards the Kin/Exp side to minimize Sansha missile damage - this is the greater danger for battleships.
The EM/Therm resist it not a great concern as long as it's in the 70-75% range or higher, depending on slot/base resist limitations.

When used for mid-range dps/Kundalini Manifest, refit mid slots to 2-3x tracking computers and 1-2x painter/cap recharger.

Note1:
If Meta4 mega pulse lasers are fitted, the ship can only be effectively used for vanguards only.

Note2:
For drones, Federation Navy Garde/Ogre can be substituted if there is a lack of T2 drone skills.

Note3:
The faction EANM can be upgraded to a Centii/Corpii A-type ANP for a minor increase in resistance/buffer.

Design Notes
Use: Assault (sniper), HQ (sniper) and Kundalini Manifest.

Simple module swaps (from Standard fitting) for sniper duty.

The best compromise is achieved by fitting 6x T2 mega beam lasers + 1 drone link aug.
The extra mid slot allows the fitting of a 2nd sensor booster which enables targeting > 150km.

Alternatively, 7x Meta4 mega beams can be fitted, which will require a minimum Squire PG4 (3% powergrid) implant.
Close/mid-range dps (faction Standard/Infrared crystal or below) improves by roughly 6%.
The loss of T2 Aurora crystal reduces long range sniper dps by roughly 25-50%.

Note1:
Fitting T2 dual-beams makes little sense due to extended targeting range.
It's only feasible in the original Armageddon due to the combination of limited mid slots, low PG & targeting range.

2. Armageddon Navy Issue (Gank)


Design Notes
Use: Vanguard, Assault (mid-range dps), HQ (mid-range dps) and Kundalini Manifest.

A variation of the standard Armageddon Navy Issue with improved dps.
Overall buffer and RR efficiency is reduced.

The kinetic hardener is removed to release 1 low slot for a heat sink (or tracking enhancer) and the rig slot is re-shuffled.

When used for mid-range dps/Kundalini Manifest, refit mid slots to 2-3x tracking computers and 1-2x painter/cap recharger.

Design Notes
Use: Assault (sniper), HQ (sniper) and Kundalini Manifest.

Simple module swaps (from the Gank fitting) for sniper duty.

Fitting a T2 reactor control unit in the low slot allows mounting of all 7x T2 mega beam lasers.
While it is a wasteful slot usage, the benefit gained is greater over having the 3rd heat sink (which will be stacked to 57% effectiveness).
It also gives a better dmg projection over the T2 dual-beams. Cap life is shortened, needing careful management.

The alternative option is fitting 7x Meta4 mega beams.
Close/mid-range dps is reduced by roughly 10%.
The loss of T2 Aurora crystal reduces long range sniper dps by roughly 35%-60%.

3. Armageddon Navy Issue (Vanguard Specialist)


Design Notes
Use: Vanguard.

Further upgrades to the gank Armageddon Navy Issue with even more dps and better tracking.
Both armor hp and cap life is further reduced.

The T2 heat sinks are upgraded to faction heat sinks.
Tank is converted to full passive with an A-type energized reactive membrane (which is equivalent or better than a T2 armor hardener).

The T2 Energy Discharge Elutriation is removed to make way for a T2 Collision Accelerator
The alternative is a T2 Burst Aerator, however it will put a strain to cap life.

Note1:
The ship does not carry any stasis webifiers.
It is critical to ensure that the fleet composition has a few specialist webbers.
Alternatively, 1-2 stasis webifiers can still be fitted as needed.
